The
Lebanese Freedom
Organization was founded 6
May 1997 by Melhem Matta in
Hoofddorp, The Netherlands.
Now, some years after, the
organization has supporters
all over the world from
Canada via Europe to
Australia and from Russia
via the United States of
America to Brazil.
The organization's first
goal is to keep and to
fortify the contact between
all people from Lebanon,
independent if they are in
Lebanon or somewhere else in
the world. All people from
Lebanon really means all
people from Lebanon. The
Lebanese Freedom
organization does not make
any differences between
political preference or
religion. The organization's
device is freedom, equal
rights and brotherhood.
This means the Lebanese
Freedom Organization is not
part of any political or
religious party, other
organization or pact. The
Lebanese Freedom
Organization is fully
independent.
The Lebanese Freedom
Organization supports and
promotes the position of
Lebanon in the world and
strives after a Lebanon in
which everybody has a chance
to develop his- or herself
in a way he or she likes to.
The Lebanese Freedom
Organization works together
with other independent
organizations that have the
same ideas and aims about
freedom, equal rights and
brotherhood. In May 2003 an
important cooperation
agreement with the European
Latisana Foundation was
signed. The plans of
cooperation were officially
laid down in the Treaty of
Maastricht. This Treaty of
Maastricht ensures a
cooperation on projects
between the Lebanese Freedom
Organization and Latisana
for the five years period
from 2004 until 2008.
We really hope to hear from
you!
